Journal of Optics has come with a wonderful overview of international activities in the field of holography - an exciting area of research leading to a wide range of innovations.
The article is a result of cooperation led by John T. Sheridan. We appreciate especially section 12 from R.Chmelik, describing advance in incoherent holographic microscopy and mentioning Telight Q-Phase.
Holographic microscope Q-Phase is used by scientists of Masaryk University to clarify various cell-related questions. Recently, they published 3 interesting articles in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy journal, Applied Materials Today and the Environmental Science and Pollution Research.
Discover detailsLike many others, the conference MICROSCOPY 2020 goes virtual this year. Join our colleague Mohamed Ashraf on Friday, Nov 06 on his lecture dedicated to QPI and particularly to Q-Phase advantages. The full program of the conference is available at bit.ly/microscopy2020
Full programAt the beginning of September, TELIGHT joined the community of entities striving to improve the conditions for the development of the optical industry in the Czech Republic. The Czech Optical Cluster, of which we have become a proud member, has been operating since 2017 and connects companies, the public sector, and education entities in the field of optics and other related industries in mutual cooperation.
Learn moreWe have used the advantage of the spring lockdown time to focus on Q-Phase software to make your work with the system easier and more comfortable. Let´s take a look at the highlights of version 8!
Learn moreScientists from the Czech Academy of Science, Institute of Microbiology, have currently published an article in Biomolecules journal, that exhibits a novel insight about the role of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and its interacting partner Rack1 in the development of the cell rear and thus the establishment of front-rear polarity with reorganization of cell mass in spreading Rat2 fibroblasts.

Read articleTELIGHT in cooperation with the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences cordially invites to a workshop „Quantitative label-free imaging cytometry“, taking place in Prague, June 16-18 this year.
More informationCongratulations to Dr. Jan Brábek from Faculty of Science, Charles University who has been recently recognized with the national award Česká Hlava 2019 (The Czech Head Award) for defining a new category of anticancer drugs, migrastatics.
Dr. Brábek successfully used the TELIGHT Q-Phase for unique observation of tumor cell invasiveness mechanisms.
Continue readingAn excellent comparison of the state-of-the-art cell segmentation methods for label-free microscopy has been lately done by scientists of Masaryk University.
With the Dice coefficient of 0.82, the all-in-one dry mass guided watershed algorithm (aioDMGW) implemented in Q-PHASE software was evaluated as one of the two best-performing algorithms for label-free cell segmentation. The algorithm is based on quantitative phase imaging QPI, which is an emerging imaging method stated by the study like the one providing the highest segmentation efficiency and throughput.
Read articleBRNO, CZECH REPUBLIC (May 20, 2019) - TELIGHT is pleased to announce that two innovative scientific instruments to be part of TELIGHT brand. BioAxial's CODIM and Tescan's Q-PHASE, both of them are designed to observe living cells. Q-PHASE is a unique instrument for quantitative phase imaging (QPI) based on the patented coherence-controlled holographic microscopy technology. CODIM is an outstanding technology, backed by a vast patent portfolio, that transforms any fluorescence microscope into a high-end super-resolution microscopy solution. All commitments and existing customer care will be honored.
